Swiss company Brugg eConnect has launched its new 3000 A Megawatt Charging System (MCS) at the BAUMA construction machinery show in Germany. With a charging time of a few minutes, the system is designed to provide fast charging for larger vehicles such as those used in construction and agriculture, making electric vehicles in these sectors more economical.
Brugg eConnect, which specialises in cable and plug connections, has contributed significantly to the success of the project, whose technology is currently in the prototype phase.
The new “express charging” technology is expected to have a significant impact on industries that have been hesitant to adopt electric vehicles, thanks to its economic and environmental benefits.
