All cable types are halogen-free, UV-resistant, flexible in the cold and meet international fire-protection standards.

TORSION CABLES IN WIND TURBINES
BETWEEN NACELLE AND TOWER

Our torsion cables (loops) are used specifically between the nacelle and tower in wind turbines. These power cables are highly flexible and torsion-resistant to withstand the constant rotational movements of the nacelle and ensure reliable power transmission. These robust cables are ideally suited to the mechanical loads and environmental influences in wind turbines.

With their resistance to torsion and weathering as well as their longevity, they are the optimal solution for the demanding operating conditions between nacelle and tower.

Our tower cables are specially designed for fixed installation in the tower of wind turbines and offer maximum safety, reliability and durability under extreme conditions. They are characterised by their high mechanical strength and are particularly resistant to abrasion and mechanical stress. Their halogen-free and flame-retardant nature ensures increased safety in the event of fires, as they do not release any corrosive gases.
In addition, the cables are UV-resistant and therefore ideally suited for long-term use in exposed environments.
